At Diverse Development Learning Services, I provide specialized educational support to students and their families. I offer personalized one-on-one tutoring in math, reading, and writing for students of all types of learning profiles. I also provide homeschool support and advocacy services.
Reading Tutoring
One-on-one instruction using research-based strategies to help struggling readers improve their reading skills. I have training and experience with Orton Gillingham and am passionate about using the science of reading to help students to strengthen their reading skills.
Writing Tutoring
One-on-one instruction to help students develop strong writing skills that are essential for academic success. I provide instruction on a wide range of writing skills.
Math Tutoring
One-on-one instruction to help students build a strong foundation in a variety of math skills. I use innovative teaching methods to make math fun and engaging for students.
Homeschool Support
Support and guidance for families who have chosen to homeschool their children. I can help families develop a customized curriculum and provide ongoing support throughout the homeschooling process.
Advocacy
Support with: understanding your student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and/or special education evaluation, your rights as a parent in the IEP process, and how to make sure that your students' needs are being met at school. I can also attend IEP and/or evaluation meetings with you.
